 MY STORY 

Though not by the same name Nickel Creek Stitches has been around in some form ever since I began crafting at a young age. In elementary school it was a friendship bracelet business; knotting and weaving new creations on the playground and selling them for a few quarters to my classmates. In high school it evolved into sewn and crochet purses and fleece and knitted mittens; complete with a 4x6 photo album "catalog" I peddled my creations to fellow students and teachers in between classes. Each time I crafted something new or made a quilt for a co-workers new baby everyone would say "you ought to sell those," well here we are today. Nickel Creek Stitches LLC now encompasses many areas of my crafting talents including crochet, quilting, paper crafts and more

 

I am a full-time working mother to two boys and one girl, and wife to an amazing husband. I began crafting/crocheting/sewing at a very young age to keep myself occupied while my own mother tended to my brothers and the family. I am mostly self taught and enjoy all aspects of sewing, quilting, crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, embroidery, and much more. Once the little ones are in bed you'll find me in my hobby room working away. I love to create my own patterns and innovate useful crafts to use with my son. I hope you all enjoy my work.
